No one could escape the story in 2015.

It marked the first time in American history that a globally beloved sports icon and Olympic athlete transitioned their gender is such a spectacularly dramatic fashion.
In 2014 Bruce Jenner was approaching legal elderly status and was enjoying life as the father on mega-hit reality TV show The Kardashians.
He was a minor character on the show.
Yet with an announcement and infamous photo debut, Bruce Jenner became Caitlyn Jenner.
Lauded with awards and attention, it was not soon before Jenner scored her own reality TV show, I Am Cait.
Most transgender people do not experience such respect or tolerance in their own lives
Yet, for all that Caitlyn Jenner has accomplished in such a short period of time since her debut, maintaining a reality TV show on her own has proven to a talent she cannot perfect.
The E! cable-TV entertainment channel has canceled I Am Cait after 2 seasons.
A public relations statement released by an E! spokesperson to Variety concerning the cancellation of I Am Cait states:
“We are incredibly proud of the two seasons of ‘I Am Cait,’ a groundbreaking docu-series that sparked an important and unprecedented global conversation about transgender people, their struggles and triumphs. Caitlyn and E! have mutually decided not to move forward with another season at this time. She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians.’”
The first episode of I Am Cait averaged almost 3 million viewers. The lowest episode of the second season of the show averaged well below half a million viewers.
