This place spans more than four square miles and is one of the state's most socially and politically progressive nations. The hometown of the very popular Indigo Girls is made up of Amy Ray and Emily Sellers. The pair had met in elementary school, and they started to make their music together throughout their high school in this location. Both girls later attended Emory University and continued to sow the seeds throughout the state community. One of the girls also invested in the Flying Biscuit Café.
